A quick and easy way to replace vinyl straps is by using Pre-Cut Straps as this process eliminates some of the time consuming steps it takes in vinyl strapping replacement. The Pre-Cut Vinyl Straps are available in 1 ½” and 2” size and if your measurement ends with ¼” or ¾” just round it down to the nearest ½” as it will stretch. Please go to the How To page for further information on how to measure. We also provide assorted colors but you will need to go to the Colors section to check for availability.
You will also find rivets in this section that are for use with the single-wrap method of strapping. Use the Long Shank Rivet (fits ¼” hole) when holes in the frame were punched rather than drilled as these holes will have a concaved appearance. Use the Short Shank Rivet (fits ¼” hole) when the holes in the frame were drilled rather than punched as these holes will be flush with a frame. The Solid Shank Double-Wrap Rivet fits a 7/32” hole.
