This small, adjusting, L-shaped locking clip with rocker secures the table base to the table rim. The lock’s rocker gives it an adjustable grip range of 9/16" to 7/8".

This small, adjusting, L-shaped locking clip with rocker secures the table base to the table rim. The lock’s rocker gives it an adjustable grip range of 9/16" to 7/8". Screw the lock to the table leg. As the screw is tightened, the rocker pitches the lock to grip the table rim. Table rim must have a groove on the bottom for the lock to grip. Measure the gap between the table base leg and the table rim lip; this is your grip range. Made of aluminum and measures 1/2" wide with a 3/8" drilled hole.
