- Replacement Sling - Carter Grandle Swivel Rocker
Details
Carter Grandle replacement slings are custom-made from Carter Grandle patterns to fit a Carter Grandle swivel rocker. The slings of older versions of some models are 19” wide while newer versions of the same models are 20” wide. Be aware that the model number on your receipt may not be the piece you actually have. You will need to measure and confirm the width of the sling. Go to How To Measure Slings for instructions and photos. Slings are shipped with the sling rods. Slings are available in Special Order Fabrics for an additional $5.00 per sling. Click on the drop down menus and select the product line and desired fabric. If you know the furniture was manufactured by Carter Grandle but you are unsure of the product line, email Patio Furniture Supplies a side-view photo of all the furniture, and we’ll email you the model name. ABOUT OUR FABRICS
All of our fabrics are specifically made for outdoor use on chaise lounges, dining and high back chairs, swivel rockers, ottomans and umbrellas. They are typically manufactured from vinyl-coated polyester, pvc-coated polyester or with an Olefin blend. They are all of high-quality and American-made, but they have different characteristics. FL- fabrics have Olefin woven in so they are soft and are the most like indoor upholstery; they are the easiest to install. The F8- fabrics have an open weave that allows pool and rain water to drain through; they are easy to install and are more durable. Easy to install and also durable are the FS- and FT- fabrics, which have a closed weave. The FP- fabrics are the most durable. Of the FP- fabrics, some have an open weave and a wicker-like appearance; the wickers are the most difficult to install.

Our How To Remove and Install Slings instructions with photos will show you the process. And the Dual Stretcher Bar Tool (PFS-TOOL) will make any sling installation easier, especially wicker fabrics. You may also need a 3/16 Allen Key For A Drill (PFS-053). Both of these tools can be found on our website in the Tools & Bolts category.
