Removed old glide and cleaned out with a screw driver. Tapped new glides in with a rubber mallet. Perfect (Posted on 8/18/2017)

  3. Great price, Arrived quickly, easily to installed, Review by Pool Rat

Great price. Arrived quickly. Installed easily. Furniture glides smoothly over stamped concrete patio surface. With new coat of paint and new gliders, patio furniture is like new! (Posted on 7/13/2017)

  4. Poor Molding Job Review by Fred

Several of the caps had flash on the upper edge. I had to cut the flash off with a knife before I could hammer them in. Poor quality control or just didn't worry about it so they could sell them cheap. They don't seem very substantial so I hope they hold up. (Posted on 7/13/2017)

  5. wonderful deck saver Review by longshotman

worked just like it was new, hint, use a large, 15/16 spark plug socket and tap glide into place (Posted on 7/12/2017)

  6. they arrived fast Review by by b

they work well hard to get in but i will try the hot water next time (Posted on 7/4/2017)

  7. Pleased Review by LH

Arrived promptly. Good price. Installed quickly and easily. Did not struggle to fit as many reviews indicated and no special method to replace the old which were at least 40 years old. Would definitely recommend (Posted on 6/30/2017)

  8. Perfect Review by jimmyk

  9. Cap Glides Review by Bob C.

These caps are indeed a challenge to install, but I really only got stuck on 1 out of 24 (4 chairs and a table). They are a heavier gauge than original equipment and I think will work well. Wish I had noticed the boiling water technique. It might have gotten me past the tough glide. (Posted on 6/16/2017)

  10. Working fine. Review by Wey

Order received. Put them on the chairs, etc. working fine. (Posted on 6/8/2017)

  11. Tight fit but good as new Review by Kontent Kev

The staff were exceptionally helpful. We could not find these anywhere. They knew exactly what we needed.
We got the wrong ones by our own and they helped us purchase these. (Posted on 6/6/2017)

  12. Very difficult to install Review by RTA

I followed the installation instructions, to no avail. I then tried the boiling water method ... closer, but still no cigar. Finally, I ground down the circumference no my bench grinder, and pressed the glide in using two (2) pairs of pliers. Bottom line is these will work if you don't mind grinding down each one to get it to fit in 1 ½ inch diameter cup. On the positive side, these definitely will not fall out once installed. 13. Love them! Review by Just me

These inserts are great! Yes they can be tricky to get in there but it only took a little trying to get the job done. Chairs and tables now glide across the patio leaving no marks! Love them! (Posted on 6/6/2017)

  16. Great Product Review by Woody

The cap glide is great. I did need to modify the cap to get it to fit. The product information said these were difficult and they were but with tapering off the installation ridges, (8) per cap, with my dremel tool they went in solid. (Posted on 6/2/2017)

  17. Did the job Review by Ken

Replaced four glides total between two chairs. Install can be tricky per earlier reviews.I inverted chairs, carefully centered glides on feet and tapped lightly all around glide perimeter to get it started -- worked like a charm...pretty much. Once started I turned hammer flat & evenly tapped to seat glide. Ta-daaa! (Posted on 6/1/2017)

  18. 1.5 Caps Review by Scorpio

Ordered caps and installed with little to no problem! (Posted on 5/31/2017)

  19. Round Insert Cap Glide 1 1/2 Review by punkineater

We have patio furniture we have had for quite a few years and needed to replace the Glide Cap.
We had searched and searched until I found your web page. Ordered them hoping they would work. PERFECT Fit. Good Fit. We hope they will last several more years. (Posted on 5/29/2017)

  20. Easy, fits perfectly Review by GeorgeL

I had my patio furniture refinished but the pieces came back with all of the glides missing (lost, broke, whatever). I'm glad I found these replacements. I boiled them for 5 minutes to make them pliable and could tap them in easily. Could not have been simpler.

  21. Perfect Review by Kiki

I had looked unsuccessfully, locally for 1 1/2" caps. Luckily found these after a google search. Read reviews and was somewhat skeptical, but ordered. So happy I did! Yes, they were a tad difficult easing them into the spot, but immersed in boiling water a few minutes and used a rubber hammer to ease in. Took a little patience. Definitely my solution. 23. Cap Glides Review by TerryL

I almost did not order these because of the reviews but they were so cheap I figured I would give them a shot. They arrived very quickly. I really had no problem getting them on. I did it the way the picture showed. A few were a little tough but most all went on without a problem. (Posted on 5/15/2017)

  24. Challenge Review by T.

Having a difficult time getting the glide in. Will try some of the suggestions. I rather have them snug instead of loose (Posted on 5/15/2017)

  25. Difficult but not impossible Review by Mike

These caps can be a challenge but it will be worth it once you have them in. It will be better than your steel legs marring your deck or patio surface right? (Posted on 1/5/2017)

  26. Don't buy them Review by Kj

The plastic engineer did not do his job. If They were tapered just a little bit on the edges, they would have worked. I had to file down all of the edges to be able to hammer them in. Very time consuming, and frustrating. Look elsewhere. By the way, I tried the hot water method. No luck. (Posted on 11/7/2016)

  27. Insert Cap Guides hard to install Review by Frustrated!

I am very handy but nothing I tried (hammers, pliers, clamps, screwdrivers...) would allow me to get the Insert Cap Glides to fit into the chair feet. The size was correct but the Glides just seemed to be too large to be inserted.

Out of desperation I put a glide in boiling water for a few minutes and presto! I was able to press the glide into the opening. If the glide is too hot to handle give it a few seconds to cool down or use a towel to push it in. Hope this helps someone else. (Posted on 6/2/2016)

Measure the inside diameter of the steel weld cup.
Set the glide on the steel weld cup, and place a block of wood over the glide. Give it a good whack, and the 30-614 should go straight in.
