A dimple marks the center of the hub. Drill a hole in the hub to fit the axle, and then paint. The tire is stretched onto the rim for a snug fit. Place tire in hot (not boiling) water for a few minutes. The heat will make the tire more pliable and easier to stretch onto the rim.
